Delores Taylor was born on September 27, 1932 in Winner, South Dakota, USA as Delores Judith Taylor and grew up near the Rosebud Indian Reservation. She was an actress and producer, known for Billy Jack (1971), Billy Jack Goes to Washington (1977) and The Trial of Billy Jack (1974), and also co-wrote some of these movies. She was married to Tom Laughlin. She died on March 23, 2018 in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA.

She and husband Tom have three children; Frank, Teresa, and Christina.
